Do you have a passion for teaching? Are you determined and want to make a
difference? Teacher Training UK are looking for enthusiastic trainees, eager to
experience and embrace every opportunity offered.
You will need be aged 19 or over, have a good command of English, Maths, and ICT (Information and Communication Technology) and be prepared to study in your own time i.e. reading, research and completing assessment activities.
Experience of working or volunteering in a school will help you make the decision about your future and demonstrating your commitment to teaching.
The Teacher Training UK programme is unique in that it incorporates a Maths and English qualification, as a result you are not required to have a GCSE grade A to C to enrol onto the programme.
In addition, on completion of the programme you will gain Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) status meaning that you will be recognised as qualified to teach in schools. Holders of QTLS are not required to serve an induction year prior to receiving a full teacher salary.
Teacher Training UK collaborates with partnering schools to provide a programme which encompasses valuable, extensive experience of the classroom environment, teaching, pedagogy, child development and strong theoretical knowledge and understanding of learning.
You will be trained in a highly supportive and aspirational learning environment and will have the opportunity develop the professional and subject knowledge, understanding and skills necessary for engaging students in creative, purposeful and challenging learning.
The total cost of the 2019/20 programme inclusive of VAT is £4,200.
This includes QTLS, Diploma in Education and Training, level 2 Certificate in English and Maths (if applicable), and professional coaching and mentoring support. There is the option to pay for the programme over 3 years interest free.
On completion of the programme you will have the opportunity to progress onto a Degree or Masters programme.
